As a Mainframe Developer - Senior Associate, you will engage in the design and development of software solutions within our Technology Consulting practice. This role involves working directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored software engineering solutions. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your problem-solving skills and critical thinking to navigate complex challenges and build meaningful client relationships. You will also have the opportunity to guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and development.

Responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining mainframe applications using programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python
- Implementing software development methodologies including Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Conducting code reviews and debugging to enhance application performance and reliability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design software solutions
- Utilizing API Management and Enterprise Application Integration to streamline application processes
- Managing software project planning and lifecycle management to meet client expectations
- Applying object-oriented design principles to create scalable and efficient software architectures
- Troubleshooting issues and performing quality assurance testing to validate software functionality
- Engaging in business process improvement initiatives to optimize software development workflows
- Building meaningful client connections and guiding junior team members in software engineering practices

Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, C++, and scripting languages

Design, code, test, and deploy COBOL programs for batch and online processing environments

Implement API management and enterprise application integration to enhance system interoperability

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
