Join Pfizers Danish Medical Affairs Team as Medical Affairs Scientist

We are looking for a Medical Affairs Scientist (MAS) – to join our Danish Medical Affairs team within the Vaccines and Antiviral Therapeutic Area. In this role, you will be a key scientific ambassador, helping shape the future of healthcare through high‑quality medical engagement and insight generation.

As a Medical Affairs Scientist, you operate at the intersection of science, clinical practice, and patient impact. You will build strong, long‑term relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and other stakeholders, ensuring that scientific knowledge is shared compliantly and meaningfully.
Working within the North I4G Cluster, your insights and scientific leadership will directly inform medical strategy, evidence generation, and cross‑functional collaboration – all with the goal of improving patient outcomes in Denmark.
Your key responsibilities
Scientific exchange & insight generation
Engage with healthcare professionals, KOLs, authorities, and other scientific stakeholders fostering trust and credibility in all interactions.
Generate, document, synthesize, and compliantly share actionable medical insights from external engagements.
Communicate insights to medical leadership, cross functional colleagues and internal stakeholders to inform strategy, tactics and operational plans.
Effectively use omnichannel and other digital platforms to deliver timely scientific information to the right audiences.
External engagement & medical leadership
Develop and execute a focused and impactful local medical plan, including KOL mapping.
Lead and contribute to scientific meetings, medical events, omnichannel activities and local medical projects.
Represent Medical Affairs in external forums and scientific congresses.
Serve as a scientific point of contact for assigned therapeutic areas in Denmark and collaborate with cluster Scientific Expert in line with cluster organizational principles.
Actively participate in external forums representing Pfizer’s medical interests and support the Country Medical Lead's (CML's) leadership in these settings.
Support and collaborate with clinical operarations team on clinical trials in Denmark which may include protocol feasibility, site identification, investigator engagement, and supporting recruitment.
Collaboration & impact
Collaborate with colleagues from Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Access, and Commercial teams to ensure integrated planning and execution.
Contribute to cluster and country medical strategies, ensuring alignment and strong local execution.
Compliantly share stakeholder insights internally to identify collaboration opportunities and drive cross-functional alignment.
Operational excellence & compliance
Uphold the highest standards of scientific integrity, ethics, and compliance.
Maintain and take responsibility of own skills and scientific therapeutic area knowledge.
Support regulatory and pharmacovigilance activities as needed.
What you bring:
Scientific or healthcare degree
Experience with vaccines and antiviral therapeutic area is an advantage
A strong track record of engagement with KOLs
Project management experience
Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and communicate complex science clearly
Digital and innovative scientific mindset and interest
Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment
Fluency in English; Danish and other languages are an advantage
