As a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping data engineering solutions within our Data and Analytics Engineering group. You will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that drive business insights and efficiencies. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your problem-solving skills and critical thinking to navigate complex challenges and deliver client-focused solutions. You will build meaningful client connections and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth and innovation.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will work within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics practice, contributing to the development of cutting-edge data platforms. Your responsibilities will include analyzing complex data sets, interpreting feedback, and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. You will be expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions while embracing increased ambiguity. Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures using Azure Data Factory and Apache Airflow
- Implementing data integration and transformation processes to support data analytics and reporting needs
- Managing data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and Databricks to optimize data storage and retrieval
- Designing and optimizing database schemas and queries for performance tuning and efficiency
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
- Confirming data quality and validation through rigorous testing and monitoring processes
- Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure for cloud-based data engineering tasks
- Building and managing data lakes and data warehouses to support business intelligence initiatives
- Applying analytical thinking to solve complex data challenges and improve data strategy
- Leading efforts in data anonymization and security best practices to protect sensitive information
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks and Snowflake Data Warehouse
