About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will own and grow a portfolio of mid-market customers and prospects across Sweden and Norway. This is a broad commercial role combining new customer acquisition with the opportunity to develop and expand existing customer relationships.
You’ll take ownership of the full sales cycle, from identifying and creating new opportunities through discovery, solution positioning, negotiation and close. Within existing customers, you’ll look beyond renewals to identify new business challenges and expand their use of AvePoint’s broader platform.
The Nordic market is highly partner-led, so you’ll work closely with AvePoint’s channel ecosystem to identify and develop opportunities, while also building your own pipeline through proactive prospecting. You’ll collaborate with partners, Solution Engineers, Customer Success and the wider commercial team to bring the right expertise into each opportunity.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both building new business and growing established customer relationships. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your territory, create meaningful customer relationships and sell beyond individual point solutions into AvePoint’s broader platform. The role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to have a visible impact on AvePoint’s continued growth across the Nordics.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop a defined territory of mid-market customers and prospects across Sweden and Norway.
- Identify, develop and close net-new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, partner collaboration and market engagement.
- Grow existing customer relationships by identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell AvePoint’s broader SaaS platform.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through solution positioning, negotiation and close.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across both new and existing customers, with clear ownership of forecasting and commercial outcomes.
- Work closely with AvePoint’s partner ecosystem to generate, develop and progress opportunities across the Nordic market. The Nordic sales motion is strongly partner-led, alongside direct prospecting by the Account Executive.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer business priorities and technology environments, translating these into relevant AvePoint solutions.
- Work with Solution Engineers, Customer Success and other internal teams to develop opportunities and deliver value throughout the customer relationship.
- Develop territory and account plans aligned with customer priorities and AvePoint’s growth strategy.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and customer information using CRM tools.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including at least 3 years in roles involving full-cycle sales responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience winning new customers as well as developing and expanding existing accounts.
- Experience proactively building pipeline and creating new opportunities, rather than relying solely on inbound demand.
- Experience working with channel partners, resellers or distributors to develop and progress sales opportunities.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and SaaS-based solutions.
- Ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into relevant business value for customers.
- Experience using structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger or similar frameworks.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
- Ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders and navigate multi-stakeholder sales processes.
How You Work
We are looking for someone who works effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and demonstrates the following values:
- Customer focus: You take the time to understand customer priorities and connect them to relevant solutions.
- Commercial ownership: You take responsibility for developing your territory, building pipeline and progressing opportunities through to close.
- Curiosity: You want to understand the customer, their technology environment and how AvePoint’s broader platform can create value.
- Collaboration: You work effectively with partners and internal teams, bringing the right people into an opportunity at the right time.
- Proactivity: You create opportunities rather than waiting for them, remain resilient and consistently work toward your commercial objectives.
- Integrity: You communicate openly and accurately about customers, opportunities and pipeline, enabling the wider team to work effectively together.
AvePoint is proud to employ talent from many different backgrounds, experiences, and identities.
