As an Incident Manager within our Managed Services practice, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing cloud infrastructure and services to facilitate seamless operations and availability for clients. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing industry-leading practices for cloud-based systems, confirming the smooth functioning of networks, servers, and data centers to minimize downtime and enhance performance.
As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards, motivating and inspiring others to deliver quality. You will leverage team strengths and manage performance to meet client expectations, while embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same, using the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the skills of team members. Addressing conflicts or issues, you will engage in conversations with clients, team members, and stakeholders, escalating where appropriate, all while upholding professional and technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure to support seamless client operations
- Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based systems to minimize downtime and enhance performance
- Implementing industry-leading practices for cloud service delivery and infrastructure management
- Designing and executing cloud migration strategies to improve system efficiency
- Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure for cloud infrastructure architecture design and optimization
- Leading teams in strategic planning and execution of cloud operations initiatives
- Coaching team members to leverage their strengths and develop skills outside their comfort zones
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in difficult conversations with stakeholders to resolve issues
- Validating compliance with professional and technical standards within cloud operations
- Promoting the use of innovative technologies and practices across cloud operations teams
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
