MS - IT Infra/Cloud - Manager - Network Lead - operate

A Network Engineering Manager, will lead and mentor a high-performance team responsible for the design, implementation, operation and support of a complex, global network infrastructure, organization’s network spans on-premises data centers, Equinix colocation facilities, public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and edge points of presence, Own architecture, capacity planning, security, automation and service management while ensuring 24×7 availability, performance and compliance. 

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors 

Degree Preferred:   

Bachelors or master’s in science, Computer Science, Engineering 

Minimum Years of Experience: 6 -9 year(s) 

Certifications Required:  

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP Enterprise) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) 
• Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCIP-ENT) 
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty or Azure Network Engineer Associate 
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Security+ 

Certifications Preferred:

• Palo Alto PCNSE, Prisma Access or Cortex XSOAR certification

Key Responsibilities   

• Lead, coach and develop a team of network engineers and specialists; establish clear objectives, career paths and performance metrics   

• Design, implement and maintain campus and data-center LAN/WAN fabrics including:   

  – Arista spine-leaf networks (CloudVision Portal, Data Management Framework)   

  – Cisco routing & switching, Cisco ISE, Cisco DNAC   

  – Meraki access and wireless deployments   

  – Aruba wired and wireless infrastructure   

• Manage and optimize security platforms:   

  – Palo Alto NGFW (PAN-OS) and Panorama management   

  – Palo Alto Prisma Access and Strata Cloud Manager   

  – Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR SOAR platform   

  – Fortinet firewalls and FortiManager   

  – Cisco ASA   

  – Elisity zero trust enforcement   

  – Claroty Medigate for OT and medical device security   

  – BeyondTrust Privileged Remote Access (PRA)   

• Oversee application delivery and DDoS protection:   

  – F5 GTM / LTM local traffic management   

  – Akamai DDoS, WAF, GTM, Edge DNS and API Security (including NoName)   

• Architect and operate hybrid cloud connectivity, including:   

  – Alkira multi-cloud networking   

  – Equinix Cloud On/Off-Ramping (ENA, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute)   

  – Native AWS, Azure and GCP network services and security controls   

• Manage core DNS/DHCP/IPAM services with Infoblox (including GTM)   

• Implement WAN optimization, QoS and traffic engineering best practices   

• Drive network automation and infrastructure-as-code using Python, Ansible, Terraform or equivalent   

• Integrate service management and incident response through ServiceNow; enforce ITIL processes for change, problem and configuration management   

• Partner with application, security and cloud teams to ensure end-to-end service reliability and compliance (PCI, HIPAA, SOC2)   

• Develop capacity forecasts, budgeting, vendor/contract management and strategic roadmaps   

• Establish and report on key performance indicators and SLAs; drive continuous improvement reviews and post-incident analyses   

Required Qualifications: 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience   

• 8+ years of hands-on network architecture, engineering or operations; 3+ years in a supervisory or management role   

• Demonstrated expertise with a broad range of network, security and application delivery technologies listed above   

• Proven track record designing and deploying enterprise-scale campus, data-center and cloud networks   

• Strong working knowledge of network security constructs, zero-trust models and SOAR integration   

• Experience with network automation, CI/CD pipelines and API-driven orchestration   

• Deep familiarity with service management frameworks (ITIL), incident management and change control in ServiceNow   

• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate technical requirements into business outcomes   

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize effectively and deliver against tight deadlines
