#### **Purpose of the Role**
The **Operations Manager** is a mission-critical role at Enerjazz, responsible for ensuring smooth, end-to-end operations from e-rickshaw onboarding and cash management to vendor and production coordination. You will manage cross-functional workflows, solve ground-level challenges, and build processes that enable fast, efficient scale-up—impacting everything from customer experience to business growth.

#### **Key Responsibilities**
**1. E-rickshaw Onboarding & Field Operations**
* Own the full onboarding process for new e-rickshaw customers—including documentation, orientation, and technology enablement.
* Oversee the timely activation and handover of batteries to end users, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
**2. Cash Management & Control**
* Coordinate daily cash collections and deposits from the field team, ensuring proper accounting and reconciliation.
* Implement controls and processes for handling, tracking, and reporting all cash flows related to battery distribution and swaps.
**3. Vendor Management (Welding & Repairs)**
* Manage relationships with welding vendors and service providers; ensure timely repair, retrofitting, or customization of rickshaws as per requirements.
* Monitor service quality, resolve escalations, and optimize vendor performance for cost and turnaround time.
**4. Logistics, Production & Warehouse Coordination**
* Liaise closely with the production and warehouse teams to align battery inventory, shipment schedules, and last-mile logistics.
* Ensure accurate tracking of stock movements, timely dispatch, and issue resolution for delivery/returns.
**5. Process Improvement & Reporting**
* Identify gaps and inefficiencies in operational processes; drive continuous improvement and SOP implementation.
* Maintain dashboards and generate regular MIS reports for management on key operational metrics—onboarding, cash flow, vendor TAT, inventory status, etc.
**6. Team Management & Collaboration**
* Lead and motivate a small team of field and operations executives.
* Foster strong communication and coordination between internal teams (sales, support, production) and external partners.

#### **Skills & Competencies**
**Required:**
* 6+ years’ experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management—ideally in EV, automotive, logistics, or FMCG sectors.
* Proven ability to manage multi-location, on-ground operations and cross-functional teams.
* Strong understanding of cash management, inventory control, and vendor management best practices.
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
* Hands-on, proactive approach; able to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup.
* Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and basic use of operations/ERP tools.
* Fluent in Hindi and English; additional regional languages a plus.
**Preferred:**
* Experience in electric mobility, battery operations, or commercial vehicle segment.
* Familiarity with e-rickshaw ecosystem and field-level challenges.
