Founded in 2022, 716 Eye Care is a locally owned, full-scope private optometry practice dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized eye care for patients of all ages. Rooted in Western New York, the practice combines advanced diagnostic technology with thorough medical eye care and a genuine commitment to treating patients like neighbors—not numbers. As patient demand continues to grow, 716 Eye Care is focused on expanding access to care, making full use of its new facility and modern instrumentation, and welcoming another optometrist who is interested in growing clinically, building lasting patient relationships, and becoming an important part of the practice’s long-term future.
What you'll do:
In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive, patient-centered optometric care while serving approximately 15 patients per day on a 30- to 50-hour-per-week schedule. Your daily responsibilities include routine and medical eye examinations, diagnosis and management of ocular disease, contact lens evaluations, and co-management of surgical patients. You’ll have access to modern diagnostic technology—including Optomap, Topcon Maestro2, Topcon lensometers, RetEval, InMode by Envision, a meibography camera, and a KR-800PA autorefractor—to support thorough evaluations, monitor ocular health, and deliver a high-quality patient experience. This opportunity also allows you to develop your own patient base and clinical interests while collaborating with an experienced clinical and optical team and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded, personable, and compassionate optometrist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient-centered care and building lasting relationships within the Fredonia community. No specific specialty is required; 716 Eye Care welcomes doctors with interests in primary eye care, medical optometry, ocular disease management, dry eye, contact lenses, or other areas they would like to grow within the practice. This role is a strong fit for someone who is dependable, communicative, collaborative, and confident working independently while also valuing a team-oriented environment. A willingness to learn, embrace new technology, contribute ideas, and become a long-term part of 716 Eye Care’s continued growth is highly valued.
Why you'll love Fredonia:
Fredonia offers the charm of a close-knit Western New York community with the everyday conveniences that make it easy to feel at home. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, local character, and small-town appeal, Fredonia provides access to schools, parks, shops, restaurants, and recreational opportunities while maintaining a relaxed pace of life. Residents can enjoy the area’s rich history, nearby natural beauty, seasonal outdoor activities, and community events, creating a well-rounded lifestyle for individuals and families alike. For an optometrist looking to build meaningful patient relationships and become part of the community, Fredonia offers a rewarding place to live, work, and grow.
