Huron is seeking a Director, Oracle Manufacturing to help clients modernize manufacturing and supply chain operations through Oracle ERP, advanced analytics, and applied AI. This role blends deep process and discrete manufacturing expertise with AI‑assisted insight generation, enabling smarter planning, execution, and decision‑making across complex manufacturing environments.
The Director will lead large‑scale Oracle Manufacturing and SCM transformations while helping clients leverage embedded Oracle AI, predictive analytics, and operational intelligence—always in a human‑led, value‑focused model.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Manufacturing Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and IT leadership
- Lead current‑state assessments and future‑state process design across discrete and process manufacturing
- Help clients operationalize AI use cases such as:
- Predictive demand and supply planning
- Production and inventory optimization
- Cost, yield, and variance analysis
- Maintenance and asset performance insights (EAM)
- Engage directly with plant managers and operations leadership to ensure Oracle solutions are grounded in real‑world execution
Program & Solution Delivery
- Lead Oracle programs including greenfield implementations, rollouts, and re‑implementations
- Own solution leadership across Manufacturing and SCM, including:
- BOM, WIP, Inventory, Costing, Quality, Maintenance (EAM)
- Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM), Product Development
- MRP, ASCP, WMS, MSCA, Procurement, Order Management
- Guide clients on AI‑enabled manufacturing capabilities within Oracle Fusion Cloud and adjacent analytics platforms
- Leverage AI to accelerate:
- Discovery and process documentation
- Fit‑gap analysis
- Scenario modeling and trade‑off analysis
- Provide delivery governance, scope control, risk management, and quality oversight across onshore/offshore teams
Presales, Growth & AI Solution Shaping
- Lead or support presales efforts, proposals, and orals for Oracle Manufacturing opportunities
- Shape AI‑enabled solution narratives that resonate with both business and plant‑level stakeholders
- Identify and define manufacturing‑focused AI use cases that create tangible operational value
- Contribute to the development of AI accelerators, industry solution frameworks, and reusable assets
People & Practice Leadership
- Mentor and develop consultants, managers, and senior managers across Oracle Manufacturing and AI‑enabled delivery
- Support recruiting and capability development in manufacturing, SCM, analytics, and applied AI
- Contribute to internal and external thought leadership on:
- Manufacturing transformation
- AI‑enabled ERP modernization
- Digital plant operations
- Foster a culture that balances innovation with disciplined delivery
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 14+ years of experience delivering Oracle Manufacturing and Supply Chain solutions
- Deep functional expertise across:
- Process Manufacturing (OPM) and/or Discrete Manufacturing
- Inventory, BOM, WIP, Costing, Quality, Maintenance (EAM)
- Strong background in business process re‑engineering and industry benchmarking
- Experience leading complex, multi‑plant Oracle programs
- Experience integrating analytics or AI insights into manufacturing or supply chain decision‑making
- Proven ability to manage offshore delivery teams and complex stakeholder environments
- Executive‑level communication and client leadership skills
- Willingness to travel as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience leveraging embedded Oracle AI, predictive analytics, or advanced planning tools
- Industry experience across food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, CPG, high‑tech, automotive, building products, or OEMs
- Experience modernizing legacy manufacturing, warehouse, or plant systems
- Strong presales and proposal development background
- Oracle certifications in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Cloud ERP
The estimated base salary range for this job is $175,000 - $225,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $218,750 - $303,750. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
