Platform Engineer (Cloud & Kubernetes)

For our Global Service IT organization, we are looking for a IT Platform Expert with a strong focus on Cloud, Container and Kubernetes-based platforms, who combines deep technical expertise with operational responsibility and acts as a stabilizing pillar within our Global Service IT organization in Sofia. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Deploy, Operate, maintain and further develop cloud-native and container-based platforms 
• Support and enable DevOps and delivery teams in cloud and container-based project deliveries 
• Support platform-related automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives 
• Deploy and Operate hybrid cloud platforms (on‑prem & public cloud integrations) 
• Support 2nd/3rd level service operations for platform-related incidents and requests 
• Work closely with architecture, security and application teams 
• Support standardization, automation and platform hardening 
• Participate in global on-call rotation (low frequency, platform scope) 
• Provide ocasional hands‑&‑feet / onsite support  (e.g. hardware checks, basic connectivity, coordination with local vendors) 

Your Profile 

• 2+ years of experience in IT platform engineering or operations 
• Good hands-on experience with container and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and concepts:  Azure and/or AWS (IaaS/PaaS perspective) 
• Experience with Linux-based or Windows platforms 
• Good understanding of enterprise IT operations and ITIL principles 
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code or automation (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Helm)
• Structured, service-oriented and reliable working style 
• Willingness to support hands-on activities in exceptional cases (minor share) 
• Business‑fluent English; any other language skills are an advantage
