As a Power BI Engineer - Associate 2, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights within our Technology Consulting practice. You will be at the forefront of data engineering, working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive business success. Your work will involve designing, developing, and implementing data models and visualizations that empower decision-making processes.
As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, leveraging your analytical skills to deliver impactful data solutions. Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow and Directed Acrylic Graphs (DAGs)
- Implementing data integration and transformation processes with Azure Data Factory and Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform
- Designing and optimizing data architectures and models to support scalable data solutions
- Managing data warehouse environments, including Snowflake and Data Lake, to facilitate efficient data storage and retrieval
- Conducting data validation and quality checks to maintain data integrity and accuracy
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions
- Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Databricks for cloud-based data engineering tasks
- Performing database administration and optimization for MySQL and PostgreSQL systems
- Engaging in data anonymization and security best practices to protect sensitive information
- Supporting agile scalability and performance tuning efforts to enhance system efficiency
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Demonstrating proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Databricks
- Utilizing Apache Airflow and Apache Hadoop for data processing
