Job Description
About Texas A&M AgriLife and the Office of Data and Accountability
Texas A&M AgriLife is the nation’s largest and most comprehensive agriculture program, uniting five members of The Texas A&M University System: Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Texas A&M AgriLife Research, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University, Texas A&M Forest Service, and Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory. With more than 5,000 employees and a presence in every county across Texas, AgriLife is dedicated to improving lives, environments, and the state’s economy through education, research, extension, and service.
The Office of Data and Accountability (ODA) plays a critical role in this mission by transforming data into meaningful, actionable insights that support AgriLife Extension programs. ODA collaborates with specialists and program leaders—including those overseeing grant-funded initiatives—to design standardized data collection systems that ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all programs. Our team delivers user-friendly tools for real-time reporting, customized data outputs, and easy-to-interpret information that strengthen program management and outcomes.
ODA’s commitment to intentional application development and data standardization helps programs meet accountability and reporting requirements for funders and state or federal stakeholders. By providing reliable, timely data in funder-required formats, ODA empowers AgriLife programs to demonstrate impact, reinforce funding relationships, and support the long-term sustainability of Extension initiatives.
