• Ensure all activity reflects NZTE’s brand standards, market needs, customer outcomes and stakeholder expectations.

What you'll need to be successful

You'll bring:

• Strong operational and project management capability, with experience translating strategy into practical plans and delivered outcomes.
• Experience developing and delivering integrated marketing programmes across events, digital channels, communications and customer initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a matrix or complex stakeholder environment, gaining alignment and driving outcomes Budget management, process management and continuous improvement experience, with the ability to simplify complexity and prioritise effectively.
• Strong engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence, coach, mentor and support delivery through others.
• Exposure to customer-focused, sales-led or international organisations would be valuable, as would experience in internal communications and media and public relations initiatives.

Why you'll love working here

At NZTE, you'll join a highly connected global team united by a shared purpose. We encourage experimentation, continuous learning and collaboration, while giving our people the autonomy and trust to lead meaningful work that supports New Zealand businesses on the world stage.

You’ll work across a diverse regional network, gain exposure to high-profile customer programmes and collaborate with people across government, industry and international markets.  This role offers the opportunity to operate at a senior level while remaining close to delivery, influencing programme direction and execution across a regional context.
