Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the operation of a highly complex or specialized research area or laboratory.
Example of Duties
• Develops, designs, and conducts one or more large and highly complex research projects, reviews progress, and evaluates results.
• Formulates novel research methods and suggests options for improving quality, identifies potential problems, recommends and implements solutions, and collaborates in the development of new techniques.
• May act as a principal investigator for nationally and internationally recognized research.
• Authors manuscripts, writes grants, and generates new ideas for research.
• Conducts analysis of data, interprets, and implements research methodology based on the outcome of the analysis.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
