As a SAP-BODS Senior Associate, you will specialize in providing consulting services for data and analytics solutions using SAP technologies. You will analyze client requirements, design and implement data management and analytics solutions, and provide training and support for effective utilization of SAP data and analytics tools. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will work closely with clients to understand their data needs, develop data models, perform data analysis, and create visualizations and reports to support data-driven decision-making, helping them optimize their data management processes, enhance data quality, and derive valuable insights from their data to achieve their strategic objectives.
As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems and manage assigned workstreams, developing deliverables within client service engagements. You will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you will grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will utilize your experience in data migration and SAP BODS, working with SAP functional and technical consultants to analyze data migration requirements and design appropriate solutions. You will also provide advisory services to understand and address data management issues, contributing to the strategic objectives of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing client data migration requirements and legacy data structures to design effective migration solutions
- Designing and implementing data migration frameworks using SAP Data Services and Information Steward
- Managing data migration processes including building, testing, executing, and overseeing migrations with tools like SAP SDS LSMW and SAP Migration Cockpit
- Performing data source analysis and profiling to assess data quality and conformity to target systems
- Conducting preload and post-load validation of migration results and advising on data cleansing strategies
- Providing advisory services to clients on data management issues and recommending appropriate strategies
- Developing data models and performing complex data analysis to support data-driven decision-making
- Creating technical specification documents for data services jobs utilizing migration experience and programming knowledge
- Supporting data cleansing activities using Information Steward, Excel, Data Services, and SQL tools
- Facilitating migration dress rehearsals, cutover tasks, and post go-live support to validate seamless integration
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- At least one of the following: One or more SAP certifications in SAP Data and Analytics solutions, including SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Warehouse (BW/4HANA), SAP Data Intelligence, or related data platform credentials
- Possessing extensive experience in SAP BODS and Snaplogic for data migration
- Demonstrating proficiency in SAP Data Services and Information Steward
- Utilizing LTMC and LTMOM for SAP Migration Cockpit customization
- Excelling in complex data analysis and data-driven consulting
- Implementing data migration frameworks using SAP Data Services
- Supporting data cleansing and validation exercises through SIT, UAT, and PROD cut-over
