Senior Account Manager

Are you the person clients call when something really matters?

Can you tell a client "no" and come out of the conversation with their trust intact?

Would you rather own the results of a client portfolio than just manage the relationships?

AOT Technologies is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our team and own a portfolio of client accounts and run each one like your own business, with room to grow as we do.

About AOT

We’re on a mission to help enterprises and governments bring their ideas to life.

As a boutique consulting firm, we partner with enterprises, startups, and governments to solve complex, mission-critical challenges. Our expertise spans business process management, automation and AI, cloud, and application development. Our teams are collaborative, our leadership is transparent, and our work is impactful.

Alongside our consulting practice, we’re product builders: our flagship platform, formsflow.ai, is a low-code solution that simplifies complex form creation, approvals, and workflow automation, helping organizations move faster without sacrificing quality or compliance. Under the SLED360 umbrella, we deliver products and services tailored to the unique needs of state and local governments and the education sector, from modern case management to digital services. Our product offerings reflect our entrepreneurial spirit and firsthand experience solving real-world problems with scalable, human-centered technology.

As we expand into new markets and scale our solutions, there’s never been a better time to join AOT.

Role and Responsibilities

You'll be the senior relationship lead for a set of client accounts. You'll protect delivery quality, keep each account's contracts and finances healthy, and find new ways to help clients succeed. You'll be hands-on and resourceful, and you'll help shape how account management works here as we grow.

You will:

• Act as a trusted, senior point of contact and escalation point for your clients.
• Know your contracts inside out, manage renewals, and catch scope creep before it costs us.
• Manage account budgets and forecasts, working with Finance to keep invoicing and payments on track.
• Grow your accounts by spotting opportunities, including in AI and emerging technology, and partnering early with Sales.
• Work with project leads in Canada and India to keep delivery aligned with what clients need and what we've agreed to.
• Report to leadership on account health, risks and opportunities.

Who You Are

You think like a business owner. You know your accounts' numbers, contracts, and people, and you make decisions that balance a happy client with a healthy account. You stay steady when a client pushes back, and you can deliver difficult news in a way that builds credibility. People count on you because you follow through, consistently. You're hands-on and resourceful and you adapt quickly to new environments, including the pace and culture of the public sector.

What You Bring

• 10+ years in account management, client services or engagement management, ideally in IT consulting or professional services.
• A proven record of managing budgets and growing existing accounts.
• Ability to manage competing, urgent priorities.
• Confidence with contracts, statements of work, SLAs and change management.
• Enough technical fluency to talk credibly about software delivery and AI with clients and engineers. You don't need to be a developer.
• Composure under pressure, and the ability to deliver difficult news without damaging trust.
• A hands-on, resourceful approach and strong business acumen.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with government or public sector clients, ideally in BC.
• Experience in a smaller or growing firm.
• Experience with distributed teams across time zones.
• Technical background, e.g., undergraduate studies in computer science or a related field, previous work experience in IT or related industries.

What We Offer

• Annual salary of $130K – $150K CAD, commensurate with experience
• Flexible hybrid work environment in beautiful Victoria, BC
• Continuous learning and leadership development opportunities
• Flexible schedules and generous paid time off
• Competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits from Day 1
• Employer-sponsored deferred profit-sharing plan
• A collaborative, mission-driven culture where your work matters
