About Lume and Mando Founded in 2017, Lume is a transformative personal care brand on a mission to normalize body odor beyond pits and provide people with outrageously effective solutions so they don’t have to think twice about odor. We are pioneers of the whole body deodorant category, with a portfolio of odor-blocking products including anti-perspirants, aluminum-free deodorants, body washes, body creams, cleansing bars and laundry sprays. Lume products are OB/GYN developed, made with skin-safe ingredients that are gentle enough for the most sensitive parts and often referred to as “life-changing” by our customers. In late 2022, we launched a men’s line called Mando, bringing our expertise to the men’s personal care category. From whole body deodorants to body washes, our product offerings arm men with the confidence to show up as their best selves as they move about their busy day.
Lume and Mando are part of Mammoth Brands, the modern CPG company behind category-leading brands Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume, Mando, and Coterie. Driven by a mission to “Create Things People Like More,” the company is creating a new model—and home—for brands, founders, and talent looking to solve unmet needs, improve peoples’ lives and ultimately change the status quo. Even as we grow, we take extra care to maintain the small, scrappy, entrepreneurial culture that helped to get us where we are today: a company that people like more, that better serves its customers, employees, and community. Mammoth Brands is committed to making a positive impact and donated over $20 million through our network of nonprofit partners to date. We build brands that move fast and think big — and we hire people who are curious about AI, willing to experiment with it in their day-to-day work, and excited to accelerate what's possible. We prioritize giving our team the tools, training, and space to build real fluency, so you grow alongside the technology and help shape how we use it. |
About the Team
The People Team at Mammoth Brands exists so that everyone can do great work, grow, and build an innovative business together. We’re looking for enthusiastic, humble, and curious people-loving-people to join us. This role sits on the Mammoth Care People Business Partner team, supporting our largest business unit: a matrixed, fast-moving business spanning brand, sales channels, product, and supply chain. We work shoulder to shoulder with business leaders, and we laugh a lot along the way.
About the Role
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about both people and business, thrives in dynamic environments, and is energized by creating impactful change and contributing to talent density at Mammoth Brands.
As a Senior People Business Partner, you’ll be a sought-after strategic partner to a group of Mammoth Care senior leaders and their organizations. You’ll operate with real autonomy and judgment, shape decisions rather than execute them, and know when a call is complex enough to bring to your manager. You’ll be trusted to read the business, see what it means for people, and say the thing that needs saying.
What you will accomplish
Outcome #1: Strategic Thought Partnership. Be the People's voice in the room where business decisions get made.
Outcome #2: Coaching & Guidance. Make good leaders even better.
Outcome #3: Org Design & Workforce Planning. Build organizations that scale.
Outcome #4: Engagement, Retention & Talent. Keep great people, and help them grow.
This should describe you
Comfortable in the Gray: You’re energized by ambiguity. You can hold two competing truths at once, weigh what’s fair against what’s practical, and make a decision with conviction while staying open to being wrong.
A Coach to Senior Leaders: You build trust quickly at every level, and you’re at your best guiding VPs and executives. You ask the question no one else will, and you’re direct and kind in the same breath.
Business Savvy: You quickly develop a deep understanding of business strategy and how we make money. You translate strategy into people architecture: the structure, talent, and culture the business needs to deliver its plans.
Data and Tech Fluent: You’re as comfortable in a spreadsheet as in a hard conversation. You can work with headcount and workforce data, find the story in it, and use it to shape decisions. You dive into AI, experimenting, building, and teaching others what works.
Steady Through Change: Reorgs, departures, and surprise pivots don’t rattle you. You’re highly resilient, you refocus fast when there’s a hiccup, and you help others reset. People take their cue from your calm.
A Lifelong Learner: You’re curious, you’re not afraid to say “I don’t know,” and you turn what you learn into better processes.
Someone Who Can Laugh: You take your work seriously, but you don’t take yourself too seriously. You know humor and humanity make you better at the job, and you drive real impact without the ego.
You likely have 5+ years of experience in HR business partnering or a similar strategic People role, ideally supporting senior leaders through growth and change. CPG, retail, or a matrixed environment is a plus, but not required.
