Dublin, Éire / Ireland
Hybrid
Hybrid role based in our Dublin office (3 days a week), with occasional travel to UK offices as needed
Seccl is the Octopus-owned embedded investment platform, on a mission to help more people invest, and invest well.
We’re building the infrastructure behind the next generation of investing. Our technology already powers some of the UK’s most ambitious fintechs, banks, financial advisers and wealth firms, with close to a million investors relying on Seccl-powered platforms. And we’re now expanding into Europe, starting in Ireland.
We’ve got a proven product, strong momentum and big ambitions for what comes next: helping more household-name brands launch and scale investment propositions, entering new markets and replacing outdated investment infrastructure with technology that’s faster, simpler and built for scale.
We’re proud to be part of Octopus, one of the UK’s most successful privately held investment and technology groups. That gives us the backing and long-term perspective to build something substantial, while keeping the pace and energy of a high-growth business. Seccl and Octopus are both B Corp certified and share a belief that profit and purpose should go hand in hand.
If you want to help build the next chapter of Seccl in Ireland and shape the future of investing across Europe, you’ll be in good company.

We’re looking for a Senior product manager to join the Account squad in our European tribe. You’ll own the foundations that let us onboard firms, clients and accounts across Europe, and shape the products we build on top of them.
Our European strategy has two parts. First, we’re going deep in Ireland, building a full proposition with the products, tax wrappers and pensions that Irish firms and their clients need. Second, we’re building the foundations to spread at speed into more European countries, with a focused offering for each market rather than a rebuild every time we enter a new one. The Account squad sits at the centre of both.
You won’t be joining a finished roadmap. You’ll help define it, with real ownership over the problems that will decide how far and how fast we can grow in Europe. Working alongside a small, high-impact European team, our Compliance and Commercial colleagues and key European clients, you’ll play a central role in taking us from a deep Irish proposition to a scalable European one.
Launching an Irish Personal Investment Account (PIA). This is a new tax-incentivised product that isn’t yet live in the market, which makes it a genuine first mover opportunity for Seccl and our clients. Moving quickly and getting it right will matter.
Introducing jurisdiction into the Seccl platform, so products, rules and regulation can vary by country without rebuilding it each time
Building the foundations that let us scale onboarding for firms, clients and accounts and expand at speed across Europe
Integrating a third-party pension provider, so Irish firms can offer their clients a fuller suite of products
Turning Irish and European regulatory requirements into clear product requirements, working closely with Compliance
Defining and prioritising the Account squad’s roadmap, balancing what Ireland needs today with the foundations Europe will need
Breaking down complex problems like jurisdiction into clear, actionable plans with engineers and other stakeholders
Adapting and extending UK product and engineering capabilities for European markets
Making trade-offs across speed, risk and customer value in a highly regulated environment
Using quantitative and qualitative data to make evidence-based decisions
You have a track record of owning a product area end to end, ideally in account, onboarding or customer lifecycle products in a regulated environment (e.g. fintech, banking, investments, pensions or insurance)
You have launched regulated products into European markets and understand how requirements can differ from one country to the next
You have experience of integrating with third-party providers, platforms or APIs
You’re comfortable in 0→1 or highly ambiguous environments, making trade-offs across speed, risk and customer value
You can bring clarity to complex, undefined problems and turn them into actionable plans
You’re highly proactive, creating momentum rather than waiting for direction
You’re customer-obsessed, focused on improving workflows and outcomes
You thrive in cross-functional teams, working with Compliance, Commercial and Engineering and communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences
Desirable: you’ve launched regulated products into European markets, or integrated with third-party providers, platforms or APIs
You rely on top-down direction. Here, you’ll have a lot of freedom and ownership – it’s up to you to shape your growth and deliver outcomes.
You’re uncomfortable in a fast-paced environment. Our ability to move quickly and scale effectively is key to our success – we need people who can adapt and think on their feet.
You struggle to follow through on ideas. We value people who not only think big, but also deliver.
You resist change. We’re growing quickly, and the environment can be ambiguous – you’ll thrive here if you see change as an opportunity rather than a hurdle.
We offer a generous mix of benefits designed around the things that matter to our people:
💰 As salary between €80,000 and €105,000, reviewed annually, plus a 6% employer pension contribution and life assurance
🌴 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with some flexibility around bank holidays, plus your birthday off

We put people first and try hard to create an environment where people feel trusted, heard and able to do their best work.
We value openness, curiosity and different perspectives. You’ll have the freedom to challenge how things are done, experiment with better ways of working and take real ownership of your impact.
