What does your job as a Senior Product Manager look like?
In this role, you combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution:
- You take the lead in developing and improving products and services for small businesses and self-employed clients
- You coordinate the full product development lifecycle, from concept, conditions and governance to launch preparation, working closely with multiple internal stakeholders
- You monitor market trends and evolving customer needs, translating them into innovative product solutions
- You help define the positioning of our product portfolio across the market and our distribution channels
- You analyze market data, customer insights and distributor needs to support strategic decision-making
- You monitor product profitability and initiate targeted improvements where needed
- You build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal product positioning
This is how you perfectly fit into the team
- You have a strong and broad knowledge of business insurance (including Property, Motor, Liability, Business Interruption, Accident and Electronics)
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a product manager within an insurance company in one or more of these areas. Experience as an underwriting assistant or underwriter within this segment is considered an asset
- You are familiar with the business insurance market and the broker landscape
- You combine analytical thinking with a customer- and results-oriented mindset and take initiative proactively
- You have strong communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders at different levels
- You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of French and English
- You are a team player, eager to learn and open to change
- You hold a master’s degree (preferably in law) or equivalent experience
