Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Information Technology Services (ITS) at Iowa State University is currently accepting applications for a ServiceNow Developer (Software Developer III). This role is responsible for the development, configuration, support, and improvement of applications and workflows within the ServiceNow platform. This position works with analysts, architects, campus stakeholders, and ITS teams to implement technical solutions that support operational processes, automation, integrations, and service delivery across the university.
A ServiceNow Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining ServiceNow functionality in a way that supports operational reliability, platform maintainability, and long-term supportability. This position participates in project work, production support, workflow automation, integrations, upgrades, and platform enhancements while following established technical standards and governance practices.
In this role, you will be expected to understand operational requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and support the continued improvement of the ServiceNow platform and related services.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow software development
Experience with JavaScript and AJAX
Experience with HTML and CSS
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
