We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Aura AI Platform team. You will design, build, and operate the infrastructure that runs customer workloads (Notebooks, Jobs, Apps, AI Agents, and Model-serving) on top of SingleStore, across multiple regions and clouds.

You will work on services that manage container pools, resource scaling, routing, RBAC, Billing, Observability and secure network access between clusters. What you'll do:

• Design, build and maintain the platform that powers internal and customer‑facing intelligent services on SingleStore
• Lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from conception to deployment, mentoring other engineers along the way
• Work closely with product managers, designers, customers, and other engineers to ensure we deliver a high-quality experience
• Drive the team's engineering standards, championing best practices in system design, code quality, testing, observability, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure we scale reliably.
• Share on-call responsibilities and proactively improve the reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.

Your Experience:

• Experience with working on distributed systems, ideally in programming languages such as Golang, Python or Rust
• Experience working with Kubernetes and/or containerized services
• Intellectual curiosity about investigating issues that impact business metrics
• Passion for building high-quality products that are robust and easy to maintain in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills with a passion for mentoring peers, fostering a collaborative team culture, and executing efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience building developer platforms, compute platforms, ML platforms, or serverless/container execution environments.
• Experience working with frontend web frameworks like React.
• Prior experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects.
