We're fixing that: our agents do the analysis that used to take CPAs weeks, our experts review it, and our customers get their money back. We started with R&D tax credits and are expanding into agricultural incentives, corporate tax returns, and other tax incentives.
We're hiring a Software Engineer I to ship product across the platform and grow fast alongside a small, senior team.
**What you'll do**
* Ship full-stack features across our Vite + React frontend (shadcn, Tailwind) and TypeScript backend (Bun, Hono, SST v3 on AWS).
* Contribute across our four product surfaces: the core R&D credit platform, agriculture incentives, corporate tax and compliance, and the agentic infrastructure that powers all of them.
* Work with AI-powered data pipelines — document extraction, RAG over tax authority, and agent workflows built on frontier models.
* Learn from senior engineers through tight code review and pairing, and take on increasing ownership as you ramp.
**Our stack**
* TypeScript end-to-end — Bun + Hono services, Vite + React (shadcn, Tailwind) on the front.
* SST v3 on AWS: Lambda, ECS/Fargate, SQS, Step Functions.
* Aurora Postgres with Drizzle ORM, Pinecone for RAG, Clerk for auth.
* Frontier LLMs powering extraction, analysis, and agent workflows.
**You should have**
* 0–2 years of professional experience (internships and serious side projects count).
* Strong fundamentals in TypeScript or a similar language, and hunger to learn the rest.
* A bias toward shipping and pride in your craft.
**Compensation**
* $135k base
