Trintech is an award-winning AI driven Fintech SaaS and we are looking for a Tech Lead, Software Engineering who will be responsible for leading a team from a technical execution standpoint, including defining implementation approaches, selecting appropriate technologies, building scalable frameworks, and ensuring high-quality delivery.

THE ROLE

Join our team as a Software Engineer II focusing on the development and maintenance of Trintech’s integration platform.  The ideal candidate will have a background in software development, particularly .NET MVC, .NET Core, JavaScript and/or Angular and SQL. This role involves close collaboration with teams to meet complex project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. Exposure to designing, building, or integrating AI-powered solutions such as intelligent agents or automation workflows is highly desirable.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design, develop, test and deliver innovative solutions to customer/technical challenges as well as diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
• Work in Agile teams following Agile + SAFe methodologies to deliver high quality products on time with performance and localization requirements in mind.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring high-quality and efficient software.
• Document all development processes, changes, and strategies.
• Participate actively in continuous learning to adopt new technologies and best practices in software development.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to understand requirements and implement a comprehensive solution.
• Design and develop AI-driven capabilities, including building or integrating AI agents, automation workflows, and intelligent services to enhance platform functionality and user experience.

WHO YOU’LL HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in software development, with specific skills in NET MVC, .NET Core, JavaScript and/or Angular and SQL, SQL Server preferred.
• Hands-on experience building modular and component-based, front-end applications with a strong grasp of JavaScript and/or Angular
• Familiar with CI/CD including Azure Pipelines or similar deployment technologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Successful track record delivering high quality and thoroughly tested products on time
• Able to adhere to technical standards, as well as being able to influence peers within a development team
• Experience or familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools, including building or consuming AI agents (e.g., LLM-based workflows, copilots, Codex or automation agents), prompt design, and integrating AI services into applications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical challenges and solutions to stakeholders and peers.
• Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is preferred
