About this role

As a strategic leader in our Customer Intelligence team, you will lead and develop a high-impact analytics team focused on driving customer order growth. Through mentoring, coaching, and hands-on involvement across all initiatives, you will build a data-driven culture that translates customer insights into actionable strategies. You'll be deeply involved in everything from generating insights to designing experiments, all aimed at increasing the number of orders from our customers and maximizing their lifetime value across our global markets. These are some of the key components to the position:

• Lead and mentor a talented team, embedding a test-and-learn culture for high-stakes, data-driven decision-making.
• Drive order growth initiatives by being hands-on across all activities, from generating customer insights to designing and analyzing experiments, ensuring every initiative directly contributes to increasing customer orders.
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for customer intelligence initiatives that balance insight generation, experimentation, and targeted interventions to optimize customer activation, retention, and order frequency.
• Construct top-down analytical storylines that provide clear conclusions and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
• Break silos by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams like Product, Marketing, and Sales.
• Innovate by providing thought leadership on experimentation and new Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
• Build analytical capability within the team through active coaching, knowledge sharing, and establishing best practices for analysis, experimentation, and stakeholder communication.

What will you bring to the team?

• Proven experience leading and developing analytics teams. You have a track record of mentoring analysts, building team capabilities, and creating an environment where people thrive and deliver exceptional results.
• Deep understanding of customer intelligence and growth strategies. Expertise in customer behavior analysis, promotional mechanics, incentives, and their impact on order frequency and customer lifetime value, ideally in a high-growth marketplace or e-commerce environment.
• A Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience with A/B testing frameworks and incrementality modeling.
• Strategic mindset with execution excellence. You see the big picture and can translate business objectives into analytical initiatives, but you're also involved in the details to ensure quality delivery and tangible impact.
• Hands-on analytical expertise. While you lead a team, you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You have strong technical skills (SQL, Python) and can guide the team through complex analyses, experimentation design, and insight generation.
• Proven executive presence and stakeholder management skills.
• Growth mindset and curiosity. Driven by continuous improvement, you're eager to explore new methodologies, AI technologies, and analytical approaches while fostering the same curiosity in your team.
