Your Role
As a Gensler Technical Designer you will collaborate with our Design Directors to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You will be successful because you already know how to translate an architect's sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models and images and can research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise. What You Will Do
Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production
Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives
Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions
Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings
Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination
Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
Licensed Architect preferred but not required
At least 10 years of related experience, including proven ability to deliver projects from beginning to end
Experience interpreting building code requirements in designs, coordination with consultants, and clear client communication during C.A.
Revit proficiency required
Proficient in the use of 2D/3D software, including Revit, BIM360, Octane, SketchUp , Lumion, Rhino, V-Ray, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
Experience using and applying VR and/or AR as applicable to the architectural design process is a plus
Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes
Strong organizations skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
LEED accreditation a plus

**The base salary range will be estimated between $104,000-128,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
