Abby Care is building the leading AI-native platform for family-led care. America is facing a growing care crisis. Millions more people need care at home than ever. Over 50 million family caregivers support loved ones without the tools, training, or recognition they deserve.
We believe families are the largest untapped caregiving workforce in America, and that technology can help them deliver better care while driving stronger outcomes and greater transparency across the healthcare system.
Abby Care combines clinical oversight with an AI-powered platform to train, enable, and support family caregivers in delivering high-quality care at home. Our platform helps health plans and government partners better understand, verify, and improve care in the home. We expand access to care, reduce reliance on higher-cost settings, and help ensure public dollars are spent effectively.
We are proud to partner with leading health plans, providers, and community organizations and are backed by top VCs. We envision a future where family-led care is a core part of the healthcare system. Abby Care is building that future.
Join us in solving one of the most important challenges of our time.
We are looking for a service-oriented team member to help keep our office running smoothly, welcoming, and well-organized.
This is an on-site, temporary, part-time Office Assistant role based in our San Francisco office. It is expected to run through the end of 2026.
Schedule: 3 days per week, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (12 hours/week)
Days: Monday, Thursday, and either Tuesday or Wednesday
Reporting To: Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO
If you take pride in creating an organized environment, enjoy hosting, and love keeping a team well-fed and supported, we’d love to hear from you.
Catering Coordination: We provide catered team lunches on Mondays and Thursdays. You will manage the end-to-end catering process: placing orders, coordinating deliveries, setting up the food stations, and tidying up afterward.
Ordering & Stocking Supplies: Keep our kitchen and supply closets fully stocked at all times. This includes ordering groceries via Instacart/Costco, ordering paper goods on Amazon, and picking up items for team celebrations. You proactively monitor inventory to prevent lapses in essentials.
Workplace Tidiness & Kitchen Upkeep: Maintain the overall tidiness, functionality, and aesthetic of common areas throughout the day (a dedicated evening janitorial service handles deep cleaning). You will oversee the kitchen during work hours—running and emptying the dishwasher, wiping down counters, and keeping beverage stations stocked.
Building Management Coordination: As needed, coordinate with building maintenance or property management to arrange repairs or ensure seamless entry for scheduled guests.
6+ months experience in retail stocking, hospitality, food service, or general office support (entry-level candidates with strong organizational skills are encouraged to apply).
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver boxes weighing 25–30 lbs (such as cases of beverages, bulk pantry items, or gallons of milk).
Comfort with continuous standing, walking, bending, squatting, and reaching to unpack shipments and stock shelves.
Basic understanding of stock rotation (FIFO) and tracking par levels so essential supplies never run out.
Comfort using online ordering platforms (Amazon Business, Costco, Instacart), web browsers, and workplace tools like Slack or Google Workspace.
Strong attention to detail regarding hygiene and presentation—organizing pantries, labeling storage bins, discarding expired goods, and keeping common areas presentable.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks efficiently during a 4-hour shift.
A proactive mindset and a strong bias toward action.
Compensation for this role is $25/hr
This position is part-time and does not qualify for employee benefits.

Driven to Redefine What’s Possible
We are here to make healthcare better, which means asking hard questions, challenging outdated systems, and finding smarter, more compassionate ways to deliver care.
