The opportunity
As Medical Lead, Breast Cancer within US Oncology Medical Affairs, you will serve as a medical and scientific leader for the breast cancer portfolio, including the ADC franchise. You will lead the development, alignment and execution of the US medical strategy, provide medical leadership to the Core Medical Team, and partner across US and global functions to translate scientific priorities into meaningful outcomes for patients, healthcare professionals and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
This is an opportunity for an experienced physician or doctorate-level medical affairs leader who combines deep oncology expertise with strong business acumen, launch experience and the ability to influence across complex, cross-functional networks.

About our Gaithersburg campus
Our Gaithersburg, Maryland campus is a major home for R&D and Oncology in the US, located near Washington, DC. The modern scientific environment brings together specialists, technology and collaborative workspaces to support cross-functional science. Site amenities include a fitness center, employee healthcare clinic, electric vehicle charging stations, a full-service cafeteria, dry cleaning and activity-based workspaces designed for different working styles.
Compensation and benefits
The annual base pay range for this position is $193,281 - $289,922 USD. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
