Petstock Vet - Gosford
Some veterinary jobs promise a supportive team, work-life balance and great medicine. We believe those shouldn't be perks—they should be the standard.
At Petstock Vet Gosford, we have built a practice where talented veterinarians can thrive professionally without sacrificing the reasons they entered the profession in the first place.
We practice high-quality medicine, work hard, enjoy a laugh, share ideas and know that the best patient outcomes come from collaborative medicine.
We're looking for a veterinarian who wants to be part of something bigger than just another roster.
If you're looking for a practice where you'll be challenged, supported and appreciated, we'd love to hear from you.
Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a compassionate, curious and committed veterinarian, to join our growing team, on a part-time basis (approx. 3 shifts a week).
Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience, but attitude, integrity, and a willingness to be part of a collaborative team are what matter most to us.
Our roster can be flexible to accommodate your availability alongside clinic requirements
We're looking for:
A veterinarian who is comfortable with all aspects of general practice, and values delivering an excellent standard of client and patient care.
Someone who loves to learn, as we believe great veterinarians never stop learning. We offer generous CPD support, paid study leave, regular case discussions, mentoring, leadership development opportunities and encouragement to pursue your areas of interest. Whether you're building confidence or looking to develop advanced skills, we'll help you reach your goals.
Someone who contributes to our positive team culture.
We value kindness, accountability, communication and teamwork. We celebrate each other's successes, support one another through difficult cases and believe everyone deserves to feel respected, heard and valued.
No egos. No unnecessary drama. Just great people who genuinely care about animals, clients and each other.
What you can expect:
A modern well-equipped hospital with everything you need to practice confidently, including digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, endoscope, a dedicated surgical suite and a fully equipped treatment area.
You'll never feel like you're working in isolation. We have experienced veterinarians, highly skilled veterinary nurses who work to their full scope, and an exceptional reception team who understand that great client care starts from the front desk.
Loyal clients that trust us, allowing us to practice medicine to a high standard. You will have the opportunity to work up interesting and varied cases, perform surgery and build lasting relationships.
Opportunity to bring your passion to the floor. Whether you love internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, imaging, preventative care or are simply expanding as a well-rounded GP veterinarian, you will have the support and resources to grow.
Work-life balance! Veterinary medicine is demanding, but it shouldn't come at the expense of your wellbeing. We provide flexible roster options, protected lunch breaks where possible, sustainable workloads and a supportive team that genuinely looks after one another. We want our people to enjoy long, fulfilling careers—not burn out.
As well as:
Competitive salary, well above award
Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities
Generous CPD allowance and paid study leave
VIN membership
Staff discounts
Employee wellbeing support
Leadership and career progression opportunities
