AAHA-Accredited  |  Fear Free Certified

Caring Hands Animal Hospital is hiring a part-time Veterinarian to join our eight-doctor team in Bristow. We are looking for additional coverage on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. We are open to a range of backgrounds: new graduates, doctors coming back after time away, and experienced veterinarians who want fewer days without giving up good medicine. Radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, a surgical suite and intensive care monitoring are all here.

WHAT YOU’LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE

• Mentorship here is a person rather than a program – Dr. Murphy will shape your mentorship around what you want to build, whether that is surgical confidence, dentistry, internal medicine, or simply a steadier beginning of your career with someone to ask.
• Real support when you need it. Eight veterinarians including and experienced technicians who keep the day moving - so on a three-day week you spend your time on medicine rather than on catching up.
• Benefits that actually matter. PTO and CE days with a generous CE allowance, pet discounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), plus we will cover your dues, license fees and AVMA-PLIT and VIN membership.
• Partnership opportunities for the right candidate. Through Veterinary Practice Partners, more than 260 veterinarians co-own their practices across 185 locations. We believe in investing in our team members and offer pathways to ownership for those who want to build their future with us.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
• Valid veterinary license in the state of Virginia

ABOUT OUR PRACTICE

Caring Hands Animal Hospital, we believe in building strong relationships with both pets and their owners. Through open communication, honesty, and compassionate care, we ensure every pet receives the highest standard of treatment in a safe, comfortable and loving environment.  We believe that we can create a better world for animals and the people who love them. We think deeply about what a veterinary practice can be and mean for pets and people. We think differently about how to build it. Relationships can only work on a strong foundation of trust. That's why we have built the most open and transparent veterinary experience in the region. Open treatment areas, windows into the surgical suites, and an open door policy. Our care runs from wellness and dentistry through internal medicine, surgery and intensive care.

LOCATION

Bristow sits in the open part of Northern Virginia, where the subdivisions give way to farmland and the Blue Ridge is an hour west. Manassas National Battlefield is on the doorstep, with hiking, history and twenty-one miles of bridle trails for anyone who rides, and Bristoe Station Battlefield Heritage Park is in town. Head west and you are into hunt country and the wineries around Haymarket, Warrenton and The Plains. Head the other way and Old Town Manassas has the restaurants and the Saturday market. Jiffy Lube Live brings national tours to Bristow all summer, 2 Silos Brewing and Farm Brew LIVE cover the rest of the year, and the Broad Run VRE station runs straight into DC and the Pentagon when you want the city — so you get room to breathe without giving anything up.

We are dedicated to establishing a culture that celebrates all forms of diversity and allows us to be an inclusive service provider in this community.
