At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer.

We are professionals with purpose, beating cancer every day. But we need to go much further and much faster. That’s why we’re looking for someone talented, someone who wants to develop their skills, someone like you.

What will I be doing?

You will manage the workflow and resource allocation of internally commissioned creative projects from teams across the organization. You will also manage the end to end running of the creative process from brief to delivery and build strong and trusted relationships with commissioning teams, developing knowledge, and understanding of business needs, audiences, channels, and strategy.

These are incredibly varied roles with opportunities to get more involved in the Account side including manging stakeholder relationships and creative project coordination. Or the Resource side which involves booking and managing creative resource, reporting on Studio capacity, depending on where your skills and interests lie.

You do not need to have experience in this sector, we are looking for someone with strong transferrable skills and a positive, proactive attitude.

You will be making an impact by...

• Partnering with commissioning teams to be the key point of contact for workflow of jobs into the creative team, and support the creative operations team to inform planning and forecasting

• Being responsible for the smooth end-to-end running of the creative process and drive a project from planning, to brief, to delivery, ensuring stages are delivered on time (and on budget if necessary)

• Liaising with the creative operations team and utilise the trafficking system to agree and schedule appropriate creative team resource needed to deliver projects

• Managing feedback and amendments directly with creatives and commissioning teams, giving clear and structured articulation of changes

• Being a guardian of the CRUK brand. Work with commissioning teams and creatives to ensure all creative work that leaves the creative team has passed a final point of quality assurance, is on brand, supports wider objectives and is delivered to a high standard

• Liaising with print production suppliers (e.g., Paragon) and other production interfaces (e.g., digital and film) to ensure smooth transition of creative through production processes

• Working with the creative operations team to join the dots and spot opportunities to align briefs and projects to ensure efficient use of resource and creative assets

• Ensuring the delivery of high-volume design work is maintained and managed appropriately with regular periods of reviews

• Being an essential partner in ensuring the best level of service is delivered for commissioning teams, identify, and resolve operational difficulties whilst maintaining the delivery of brilliant creative outputs

You will be...

• Highly organised.

• A strong communicator.

• A stickler for attention to detail.

• An avid brand guardian.

• Calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Enthusiastic, keen to learn and passionate about our cause!
