White Collar Factory (95009), United Kingdom, London, London
Commercial Analyst
About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team who are passionate about driving our co-brand credit card partnerships to market-leading results.
As the champion of your partnership from the ground up, you’ll not only be hands-on (pulling data using SQL and structuring analysis to support your ideas), but effective at managing and influencing stakeholders of all levels up to C-suite.
What you’ll do
- Work directly with SQL to interrogate vast datasets and analyse trends to spot gaps for improvement and growth
- Own external relationships and become the internal subject matter expert on all things relating to your partner
- Deliver the roadmap and marketing strategy for your partner - from managing product launches to shaping the direction for marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with teams across the business and be proactive to drive growth that mutually benefits your partner and Capital One
- Ensure all aspects of your partnership are managed with the utmost attention to detail, from performance monitoring and forecasting to invoicing and regulatory compliance
We often rotate our associates around , so you may have the opportunity to work on some of our other existing co-brand partnerships in the future.
What we’re looking for
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and collaborative approach, and confidence navigating challenging conversations with stakeholders
- A resilient mindset, with a desire to work in a fast paced environment, balancing ever-changing priorities
- Strong mathematical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex analysis into clear stories and actions
- A structured and well-organised approach to all aspects of the role, showing careful attention to detail at all times
Desirable (not essential)
- Experience using SQL (or similar) to query large databases - we primarily use Snowflake
- Experience working within a regulated environment
- Background in owning marketing channel performance, third party relationships and/or operational elements (e.g. invoicing, contract negotiations, change delivery)
Where and how you'll work
- This is a permanent position and can be based in either our Nottingham or London offices.
- Our hybrid working model offers you the flexibility to work from our offices and from home, when you need to.
- We're big on collaboration and connection, and so generally encourage our associates to use our offices on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- The number of days you spend in the office will usually be led by the type of work you’re doing, and the hybrid working patterns of the people you partner most closely with.
- Many of our associates have flexible working arrangements, and we're open to talking about an arrangement that works for you.
What’s in it for you
- Bring us all this - and you’ll be well rewarded with a role contributing to the roadmap of an organisation committed to transformation
- We offer high performers strong and diverse career progression, investing heavily in developing great people through our Capital One University training programmes (and appropriate external providers)
- Immediate access to our core benefits including pension scheme, bonus, generous holiday entitlement and private medical insurance – with flexible benefits available including season-ticket loans, cycle to work scheme and enhanced parental leave
- Open-plan workspaces and accessible facilities designed to inspire and support you. Our Nottingham head-office has a fully-serviced gym, subsidised restaurant, mindfulness and music rooms. In London, you can heighten your mood with a run on our rooftop running track or an espresso at the Workshop Coffee café
