Director of Brand Marketing

What you will do at VeSync:

Brand Launches & Market Growth

Own Brand Launches & Campaigns: Build and run integrated plans for the brand launch, product launches, and tentpole campaigns, with multiple beats across social, PR, ambassadors, partnerships, and community, built on positioning owned by Product Marketing.

Build Brand Ambassador & Partnership Programs: Recruit and manage brand ambassadors across athletes, physicians, scientists, and wellness and healthy-living experts, and develop larger brand partnerships and collaborations that build long-term credibility and reach. Creator and influencer programs measured on financial return are owned by Growth.

Build Brand Activations & Experiential: As the brand grows, plan and execute brand activations, events, sweepstakes, and experiential programs that expand the market, from concept through delivery.

Social Media & Community

Lead Social Media & Community: Build and lead the social media and community team, setting channel strategy, content programming, and community standards. Community starts as monitoring and CX support and grows into a full program after launch.

Partner with the Creative Studio: Brief the Creative Studio through a shared intake process on campaign and tentpole creative, key art, brand imagery, and video support, and work with them on concepts so every campaign beat has the assets it needs. The Studio owns brand identity and standards. Your team owns what ships on brand channels and when.

Work Inside the Claims Line: Partner with medical, regulatory, and legal review so social, PR, ambassador, and partnership content moves through approval on schedule.

PR & Brand Measurement

Own PR & Earned Media: Set PR and earned media strategy, manage the agency relationship, and own the launch press narrative, drawing on messaging from Product Marketing.

Own Brand Health Metrics: Define and report brand health metrics, including awareness, share of voice, and sentiment, and connect brand performance to long-term membership value.

Own Brand Budgets: Manage PR, ambassador, partnership, and social budgets, and decide where investment builds the most brand value.

What you bring to the role:

Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: 8+ years in brand marketing for consumer (B2C) brands, with hands-on direct-to-consumer (DTC) experience, including leading teams and agency partners. Lifestyle-led health & wellness, consumer technology, and subscription or membership backgrounds are strongly preferred.
Always-On & Campaigns: Proven track record running always-on brand programs alongside launches and tentpole campaigns, including taking a new brand, sub-brand, or product line to market.
Social Media & Community Leadership: Has led social media and community teams and set channel strategy for a consumer brand.
PR & Earned Media: Experience leading PR and earned media, in house or through agencies, including launch press.
Partnerships & Ambassadors: Experience building ambassador programs across athletes, experts, and credentialed voices, and brand partnerships, including negotiating the terms behind them.
Execution First: Plans and delivers. Experience with activations or experiential programs is a plus if the candidate has run them, not only pitched them.
Brand Measurement: Comfortable defining and reporting brand health metrics, and making the case for brand investment alongside growth and performance teams.
Claims & Regulatory Fluency: Experience in health, wellness, medical device, supplements, or a similarly regulated space. Knows how to build a brand presence inside real constraints.
Comfortable with Ambiguity: Can build while the brand, the positioning, and the claims framework are still being settled. Makes progress on partial information and changes direction when decisions land.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners closely with product marketing, the Creative Studio, growth, product, CX, and legal and regulatory teams.
