As a Mainframe Developer - Senior Associate, you will be at the forefront of software engineering within our Technology Consulting practice, focusing on software and product innovation. You will engage directly with clients, leveraging your skills to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions that address complex challenges. As a Senior Associate, you will utilize your problem-solving abilities and critical thinking to build meaningful client relationships and navigate complex situations. You will guide and mentor junior team members, fostering their growth while maintaining professional and technical standards.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will work within our Platform Engineering & Architecture competency, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will analyze complex concepts and anticipate client needs, using a broad range of methodologies and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems. Responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining mainframe applications using programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python
- Implementing software development methodologies including Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Conducting code reviews and debugging to enhance software quality and performance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development
- Designing and integrating enterprise application architecture and microservices for scalable solutions
- Managing application lifecycle and software project planning to meet client needs
- Utilizing API management and REST/SOAP clients for seamless application integration
- Leading quality assurance testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve software issues
- Applying object-oriented design principles and software design patterns to optimize system development
- Engaging in business process improvement and management to streamline operations and enhance client satisfaction

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
