Yubo is the Social Discovery app to make new friends and hang out online. By eliminating likes and follows, we empower our users to create genuine connections and show up as their true selves.
We've pioneered a new way for Gen Z to socialize online, and with millions of active users, our goal is to redefine how we connect today and tomorrow.
Our team is international, multicultural and deeply committed to its mission. As the leading platform to socialize online, we have a special responsibility to build a safe digital space for our community. Safety is embedded in our DNA, and our proactive approach focuses on user protection, support, and education. We also work closely with the broader technology industry to share our knowledge and NGOs create industry-leading child protection standards.
Join us in this exciting journey and help us shape the future of social interactions!
At Yubo, design has a real seat at the table. It leads squads in partnership with Product Management and Engineering, shaping strategy and decisions from ideation all the way to delivery, with direct and visible impact on both the product and the business.
We're precisely looking for a Senior Product Designer to form that partnership with a Product Manager: a duo jointly responsible for the end-to-end experiences you ship together. This is a highly strategic role (reporting directly to our CEO, no pressure) where you'll help shape product strategy, design ambitious experiments, and deliver end-to-end product initiatives focused on impacting growth, retention, and monetization across a product used by millions of users.
Product teams are moving away from small, isolated feature launches toward bigger, end-to-end experiences tested at scale, which means your design work will shape whole user journeys rather than individual screens.
You'll spend time understanding user behaviour, exploring solutions, validating ideas, and refining experiences based on real-world data, all for the sake of shipping quality experiences. We don't expect everything to be perfect from the get-go though, so expect iteration at every occasion!
This role is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys balancing product thinking with strong craft, and who wants their work to have a visible impact on business outcomes and user experience alike.
Like what you’re reading already? I think you’ll enjoy what follows.
