The Prologis Summer Internship Program offers students of diverse educational backgrounds the opportunity to secure work experience within their field of study. 

Over a course of 10–12 weeks, our interns will get to collaborate on various significant projects that impact Prologis’ business landscape. Students will have the opportunity to interact and connect with leaders within the company and build workplace acumen through various seminars and Q&A sessions. Regardless of their assigned departments, interns will have access to local market tours in order to fully comprehend Prologis’ business and how their summer contributions impact the end product.

A day in the life 

The role of Global Procurement at Prologis is to enable our real estate teams to build, operate, power, and scale with greater cost certainty, supply certainty, supplier performance, risk management, and execution speed. We do this as an enterprise function deeply embedded with the stakeholders we serve, owning the supply chain for real estate operations, new development and construction, energy solutions, and operations essentials. This role will support Procurement’s Opex Vendor Optimization team to deliver savings, reduce operational leakage, and improve service and supplier accountability through spend analysis, category research, vendor performance reporting, and sourcing projects. You will help prepare spend and performance dashboards and track vendor follow-up actions, while coordinating internal leadership and external supplier meetings and associated review materials. You will also contribute data validation and process documentation to the analysis, testing, and rollout of in-house, AI-enabled tools that advance invoice validation and spend management. Finally, you will identify practical tools or automation that can improve team efficiency across the board. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Develop tools and conduct research to strengthen spend analysis, category intelligence, and sourcing decisions. 

• Prepare and distribute vendor performance dashboards and help track follow-up actions. 

• Coordinate market and vendor review meetings, including scheduling, materials, and action-item tracking. 

• Lead data validation and process documentation that supports analysis, testing, and rollout of internal, AI-enabled invoice management tools for property services.

• Identify practical tools, automation, and process improvements that increase team efficiency. 

Building blocks for success 

Required: 

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program as a rising senior, or currently enrolled in a graduate program. 

• Experience using Microsoft Office applications. 

• Clear verbal and written communication skills. 

• Attention to detail and commitment to professionalism and integrity. 

• Ability to collaborate as part of a team and willingness to learn. 

Preferred: 

• Coursework or project experience in procurement, sourcing, spend analysis, vendor management, or business analytics. 

• Experience with dashboards, data validation, process documentation, or software testing. 

• Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes. 

Hiring Salary Range of: 

Undergraduate: $25–$30 per hour. Graduate: $35–$40 per hour.
